May 16 - During the story telling session at Samiksha Learning Centre the teacher told the story, ' A boot in the forest ‘.The Moral of the story is that even though some people dont believe in the truth and make their own assumptions we should always say the truth. The children enjoyed the story very much while identifying various animals in the story and made their sounds. The session ended by making puppets of penguins.
May 22 - Samiksha team observed ' Biodiversity Day ' and ' World Turtle Day’ to create awareness about the rich biodiversity of species, extinct or endangered animals, their habitat and conservation of these species. Children solved worksheets for the same topic which instilled the curiosity among them to know more about it. As the session concluded children happily coloured pictures of turtles.
