COVID-19 Impact

As said rightly by one of our children:

" Now ALL children are on level playing field. Cancer or Covid or otherwise. All children are in lockdown, not able to go to school- for us it was always like that. Now they will understand our un-happpiness aunty!"

Due to COVID-19 and the associated lockdown, all our centers were closed since 24 March 2020. We continued to support the hospitals with COVID-19 related work, as there is a need for volunteers, blood donors, and PPE donors, and emergency medical support for the children being treated at KMIO.

ON 8th March 2021 we restarted our Learning center at Majumdar Shaw Cancer Center, NH (SFLC@MSCC-NH) Our reach here is expected to be around 62 children every quarter.

The Samiksha -Usky Digital learning platform is ready to GO!

We continue with development and training to deliver online remote lessons for all grades, focused on students who are alumni of Samiksha. Anyone in the Education Technology space is welcome to help us pivot into this space successfully. Please contact sandhya@samikshafoundation.org for more information about this program.
